Nightlase®

NightLase® is a non-invasive, laser therapy used to improve the quality of a patient’s sleep by treating snoring and may also help with reducing the severity of sleep apnea. It works by using controlled and precise laser energy to gently heat and tighten the soft tissues in the throat, which helps to reduce snoring and increase airway space for better breathing during sleep.

The treatment typically consists of three to four sessions over a period of nine to twelve weeks, with each session lasting about 45 minutes. The results can last up to a year, and the therapy can be repeated if necessary. Many patients find it to be a comfortable and effective solution for improving their sleep quality without the need for devices or chemicals during sleep.  Nightlase® treatment is also efffective for those who still would like to keep using their CPAP, MAD, or any other sleep apnea related devices.

How NightLase Works:

1. Preparation: Before the procedure begins, no special preparations are necessary.  Please be sure to drink water and be hydrated prior to the procedure- being hydrated will help achieve better results with the laser.  It is recommended that you have an adequate amount of water starting 1 hour before the procedure and stay hydrated throughout the day.
2. Procedure: During the session, two different types of laser are used.  One will be to warm the tissues involved.  The 2nd laser will stimulate the surface layers of the throat, the tongue and surrounding tissues.  These both together help stimulate collagen production and help tighten and improve the tissues related to snoring and airway.
3. Sessions: 1 session every 21 days (3 weeks) for 3-4 sessions total.
4. Comfort: One of the best things about NightLase® is that it’s relatively painless and doesn’t require anesthesia.
5. Results: Many patients notice a reduction in snoring and improved sleep quality after the first session, with full benefits typically seen after completing all the sessions.

The cost of treatment will be the following:

Single treatment – $550

5 Treatment package – $2625

10 Treatment package – $5000

Any unused treatments in a package will be effective for up to 2 years.  Please remember that single treatment will only achieve partial improvement compared to the recommended 3-4 sessions for full effectiveness.
